I should have known my aggressive goal to try and blog almost real time during a sales meeting would be, IMPOSSIBLE! We sales people know how to squeeze every 65 seconds out of every minute and yes, it is expected.
The schedule here on Day 4, the last day is the one we all look forward to the most, as we can finally get a little rest on the airplane this afternoon.
Since I will have to catch up either on sleep or the half dozen blogs I put a title on and an outline, maybe laying out Day 2’s schedule, which was duplicated on Day 3 will shed light to those who think your spouse is off having a grand time. Actually we are having a little fun, if you enjoy eating and socializing non-stop, so no complaints here, nobody will listen anyway as every person involved from the top down has the same schedule:
6:30 -7:15 breakfast (don’t forget waking, showering, getting motivated, and trying to write a blog)
7:15-8;00 travel on a bus to meetings
8-10 presentations
10-10:15 break
10:15-12 presentations and open discussions
12- 1 working lunch
1-3 presentations and open discussions
3-3:15 break
3:15-5:30 presentations and open discussions
5:30 – 6:30 break (and call home, catch a power nap, change clothes, blog)
6:30- 7:30 reception
7:30 -10:30 Dinner and awards banquet
10:30 – ……. post reception, hang out, socialize with friends…
DO YOU DARE TO CROSS INTO THE PORTICO?
A very short but profound Bible verse followed by two others are ones I do my best to live by. And oh it is tough during weeks like this. But I think of how few have the strength to live a life so full. So the third short verse is more important than the first two. It all goes to the One who provides and has taken care of my every need.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT)
Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
